Covid-19 Cleaning in Surrey

Anti viral, Decontamination Cleaning

When is a decontamination clean needed?

The decontamination service is recommended in any public area where there has been a positive case of Covid-19 for example: offices, restaurants, schools etc.

What equipment do we use?
To ensure the success of our decontamination service, we use high quality ULV (Ultra Low Volume) fogging equipment. This is used predominately for the application of disinfectants, biocides, fungicides and pesticides.

The fogging machines we use generate a fog or mist formed of ULV droplets between 5-50 microns (mm) in diameter. Studies have shown that droplets of this size are ideal to tackle viruses, pathogens, vector carriers and pests. In addition, formulations can be applied in concentrations of 10-90% and at flow rates of up to 0.5 litres per minute (30 litres per hour) making them more efficient in the Volume Median Diameter (VMD) spectrum.

The disinfectant we use kills 99.99% of germs and viruses and is effective against Coronavirus. It’s independently tested (Feb 2020) to European Standard BE EN 14476. Additionally, it’s also tested to BS EN 1276 & BS EN 13697 standards. Following on with our company ethos we are proud to say that the disinfectant we use is eco and vegan friendly and is safe for use in food preparation areas with its non-bleach, non-corrosive and non-tainting formula. It is also child friendly and pet friendly.

Why use a fogging service?

British Medical Journal suggests that traditional wiping of surfaces only removes around 10% of bacteria and viruses like coronavirus. This method can also promote the risk of spreading Covid-19 due to the cloth being used on multiple surfaces. Additionally, there are many areas that a cloth just cannot reach. The fogging process is quicker and more efficient than cleaning by hand as well as offering longer lasting protection for your workforce.
